The 3rd Meeting of the BIMSTEC Expert Group on Cultural Cooperation was held virtually on 24 April 2025. Hosted by Sri Lanka it discussed promotion of BIMSTEC Buddhist Circuits, creation of digital inventory of BIMSTEC cultural heritages, establishment of BIMSTEC Network of Cultural Institutions; organization of regular BIMSTEC cultural events and activities; and forging partnerships with relevant international organizations.
