The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development of Nepal, in collaboration with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development(ICIMOD), Food & Agriculture Organization(FAO) and United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) organized a workshop titled “Mountain Agriculture Technology in the Context of Climate Change and Food System Transformation” on 25-26 June 2025 in Kathmandu with participation of the BIMSTEC member States.

It assessed the current status and challenges of mountain agriculture in BIMSTEC member States and facilitated exchange of policies and technologies adopted by them on mountain agriculture in context of climate change and food transformation system.
