The 4th BIMSTEC Disaster Management Exercise (DMEx) was held virtually on 14–15 July 2025, hosted by India’s National Disaster Management Authority.
Organized as a Tabletop Exercise (TTEx), it brought together disaster management professionals from the BIMSTEC member States to assess and enhance regional preparedness for cyclones and floods.
Participants engaged in simulated scenarios, evaluated response frameworks and shared best practices to strengthen coordination for disaster response across the region.
