The BIMSTEC Energy Centre in Bengaluru, India, organized an online capacity-building programme on Hot-Line Maintenance in Transmission Lines on 14 October 2025. Over 100 experts and participants from BIMSTEC member States joined the session to deepen their knowledge of live-line maintenance and safety in high-voltage power systems. The discussions highlighted the need for capacity building, technology sharing, and regional cooperation to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power transmission across the Bay of Bengal region.
