Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), in collaboration with BIMSTEC Secretariat, organised a two-day "Training and Capacity Building Programme on Global and Regional Issues for BIMSTEC Countries" on 13-14 January 2026 in New Delhi. 76 Participants across BIMSTEC member States attended the programme in hybrid mode. The objective of this training programme was to enhance knowledge and foster common understanding among countries within Bay of Bengal region on key contemporary global and regional economic issues.
