Khurshid Alam, Director, Centre for Bay of Bengal Studies at the Independent University, Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. Daniel W. Lund, Pro Vice Chancellor, Independent University, Bangladesh and Prof. Bokhtiar Ahmed, Professor and Dean, SLASS, Independent University, Bangladesh. The deliberations underscored the opportunities for cooperation between BIMSTEC and IUB in maritime domain, to promote and protect the interests of the BIMSTEC member states in Bay of Bengal, including in Blue Economy and maritime security domains.
