BIMSTEC Secretary General, H.E. Indra Mani Pandey, addressed Seminar on “ Building Norms and Maritime Cooperation in the Bay of Bengal, ” organised by Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) in New Delhi on 15 July 2026. He underscored the need to advance practical cooperation in maritime domain awareness, HADR, search and rescue, marine pollution response, connectivity and blue economy for a secure, resilient and prosperous Bay of Bengal region.
