The Second Meeting of the BIMSTEC Expert Group on Cyber Security Cooperation met in New Delhi on 21 January 2025.
The National Security Council Secretariat of the Government of India hosted this meeting. The meeting finalized the five year action plan for BIMSTEC Cyber Security Cooperation within the BIMSTEC framework. The meeting also discussed the draft proposal on BIMSTEC CERT-to-CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) cooperation framework and the draft Concept Note on BIMSTEC Cybercrime Cooperation Framework.
