The National Disaster Management Authority of India hosted the 2nd Meeting of the BIMSTEC Expert Group on Disaster Management Cooperation on 07 November 2025 in virtual mode.
The Meeting finalized the BIMSTEC Plan of Action to improve Preparedness and Coordination for responding to natural disasters in the Bay of Bengal Region and discussed the establishment of BIMSTEC Centre of Excellence in Disaster Management in India.
