BIMSTEC Energy Centre (BEC), India, organized a webinar titled “Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Best Practices in Planning of New Power Transmission Systems” on 10 June 2026. The webinar highlighted the importance of strengthening regional cooperation and fostering a collaborative approach towards planning and development of new power transmission systems in the BIMSTEC member states. The BIMSTEC Energy Centre has taken initiatives to enhance knowledge exchange and promote best practices in the energy sector. Over 90 participants from BIMSTEC Member States joined the webinar.
