BIMSTEC Secretary General H.E. Indra Mani Pandey called on Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka today and discussed BIMSTEC's progress in all sectors of cooperation. He appreciated Sri Lanka's leadership in STI, Heath and Human Resource Development. The Secretary General also welcomed Sri Lanka's offer to host the inaugural Meeting of the BIMSTEC Health Ministers and Health Secretaries in Sri Lanka in November.
