BIMSTEC Secretary General H.E. Ambassador Indra Mani Pandey delivered a guest lecture titled “BIMSTEC at 30: Three Decades of Partnership, Progress and Regional Cooperation” on 10 September 2026 at the Lighthouse Auditorium, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event was organised by the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS).

During his address, Secretary General reflected on BIMSTEC’s three-decade journey of partnership and regional cooperation, highlighting the organisation’s achievements, the importance of collective efforts among member States, and the need to further strengthen regional collaboration for shared progress and prosperity.
