The 6th Meeting of the BIMSTEC Permanent Working Committee (BPWC) was held in Bangkok on 01-02 February 2023. Following the signature and adoption of the BIMSTEC Charter last year, at this meeting, the representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Member States finalised the Rules of Procedure for BIMSTEC’s core mechanisms, sectoral mechanisms, and external relations.
