The BIMSTEC Secretariat in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized a Workshop on Cross-border Transmission Lines Optimization of the BIMSTEC Grid Interconnection Masterplan on 18-19 February 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Officials from all BIMSTEC member States participated in the workshop.
The workshop was aimed at sharing the initial results of the optimization and seeking inputs for the detailed study of the BIMSTEC Grid Interconnection Masterplan. The Workshop also discussed the way forward in finalizing the BIMSTEC Grid Interconnection Masterplan.
