The First Workshop of Experts on Himalayan Science Council was held at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa, India on 05-06 December 2019. The Experts deliberated on the modalities of establishing the Himalayan Science Council. The Experts also presented Member State specific initiatives in the areas of Glaciology and Hydrology, Geosciences and Hazards, Oceanography and Environmental Studies and Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences.
