The Twentieth Session of the BIMSTEC Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 03 March 2020. The Meeting reviewed the progress made on various directives of the Fourth BIMSTEC Summit held in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2018 and also deliberated on some important institutional and sectoral issues with a focus on the Fifth BIMSTEC Summit.
